HELPING A DIGITAL STARTUP DEBUT ITS FIRST PHYSICAL PRESENCE IN THE RETAIL SPACE

Mid 2021 - Felix Gray, a digital startup set to democratize the use of blue-light filtering glasses in digital work environments, got an opportunity to pitch a point of sales at select Target locations.

 

This opportunity was crucial for the company's growth; having the potential to put their products in front of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of eyes and skyrocket their sales. It would also be their first physical expression in the retail space.

They needed my help to create a POS that would position them as category leaders - expressing their identity and positioning their products as a premium solution while educating potential customers about the benefits of blue-light filtering glasses in today's digital age.

We explored different layouts and materiality - settling on the option that we felt offered the best balance between the brand premium tone and Target’s mass retail environment, while offering an interesting retail experience for customers.
