After a 2-years hiatus, Pelican International is back on the tradeshow floors.

For their sales team, these strategical events represent the opportunity to engage with buyers - from existing and potential retailers. They’re a key driver to generate sales and showcase the company’s core offering alongside their latest innovations.

Now the parent entity of eight companies, it’s the first time that Pelican will present its consolidated product line as to go-to solution for the water and nautical sports industry.

CHALLENGES

  • Organize the product lines of eight companies into a cohesive experience

  • Support their consolidation process with a solution that will act as a bridge for 2022 yet still feel like a step-up

INSIGHTS

  • The industry is divided into four categories - Angler, Rush, Go & Explore. We found that they can be treated as individual verticals, scaled up, down or taken separately depending on the tradeshow Pelican is attending. Inflatable products, the fastest growing segment, are featured as their own category

  • For larger footprints, a structural element anchors the space visually - regrouping all the meeting and storage functions in the center. It creates an entry point to the booth from each side and a linear discovery experience where we control the narrative for each category

We’ve helped Pelican reinvent their tradeshow presence by reorganizing their offering into a cohesive experience that supports their brand narrative. With a impactful, yet cost-effective visual language, their products are now at the forefront - connected with the thrilling emotions of outdoor adventures.
